Rocky Mountain National Park Hours

Rocky Mountain National Park never closes! You can enter or exit the park at any time, day or night, 365 days of the year.

If you’re staying overnight, you need to be in a designated campground (there are five campgrounds inside Rocky Mountain National Park) or have a permit for a backcountry campsite.

Please note: Trail Ridge Road, which cuts through Rocky Mountain National Park and connects Grand Lake and Estes Park, is closed from mid October through late May. Trail Ridge Road will also close, from time to time, during the summer and fall because of bad weather.
